Temptation
Someone in my office left a perfectly toasted bialy on top of the toaster oven. It's sitting there looking like it should be in a food magazine photo spread. I must say, I was tempted to steal it.

Yum. I want to stop at Tommy's Yorktowne Bagels and Bialys tonight and get one.
It is a yummy bready baked good that is like a bagel without a hole, but with an indentation in the center that holds a chopped onion mixture. The good ones have a very puffy and crunchy side with a sort of softer denser center.

What is a bialy? Tony Soprano was always eating those...

Very interesting...always wondering about the bialy. Does it come in different varieties?
Not really. Unless you consider size a variety. They can get as big as a pancake or as small as a bagel, but they are always the same basic recipe.
